Graukogel summit tour - challenging, exposed and impressive
This short but demanding route requires fitness, surefootedness and alpine experience. With Gasteiner Energy Water at your side, you can tackle steep climbs and rocky passages - optimally supplied with fresh energy.
The tour starts at the Graukogelbahn II mountain station and leads along a narrow path along the western flank to the Hüttenkogel. The steep, sometimes exposed sections should not be underestimated and require full concentration. Continue along the Andreasweg to the pre-summit of the Graukogel. This is where the actual climb to the main summit begins - an alpine passage that is steep in places and requires a good head for heights.
The trail is not marked and is only suitable for experienced mountaineers. Some climbing sections must be overcome; appropriate alpine experience is essential.
