Recharge your batteries on the biotope trail - around Dorfgastein

The unspoilt nature and tranquil power spots around Dorfgastein invite you to recharge your batteries. After a short ride on the Fulseck summit lift to the mountain station, an idyllic hiking trail begins in a northerly direction. Along small ponds, which are home to rare animals such as salamanders and newts, the path leads gently through the alpine landscape.

At around 2,000 metres above sea level, the fresh mountain air can be experienced particularly intensively. The gentle descent to the Arltörl - also known as the Biotopensteig or Kraftplätzeweg - stretches for a good 5 kilometres and offers numerous opportunities to pause, take a deep breath and marvel.

For a cosy break, the Heumoosalm, Grabnerhütte and Gipflstadl Fulseck offer several refreshment stops - ideal for regional delicacies in a relaxed atmosphere.
