What does "directly pressed" mean?

Directly pressed means that the juice is bottled immediately after the fruit has been pressed. In contrast, with concentrate, the fruit juice is concentrated by removing the water from it.

Are the fruits chemically treated?

The fruit is not chemically treated for the directly pressed fruit juice that our Gastein products contain. Nevertheless, we always carry out analyses to check the naturalness of our products.

Can sugar be added to fruit juice?

No, pure fruit juice only contains the natural fructose from the directly squeezed fruit, just as if you were squeezing the fruit itself.

How many types of Gasteiner Near Water are available in cans?

The following five flavours are available in the 330 ml can: lemon, orange, apple, raspberry-lemon and elderberry & lime.

Is an expired Gasteiner Near Water can harmful?

After opening, we recommend storing in a cool, dark place - ideally in the fridge - and consuming within three days. Gasteiner 100% natural should generally be consumed within the specified best-before date to ensure optimum freshness. As it is a pure natural product without preservatives, cool and light-protected storage is always recommended.
